รัฐบาลฮ่องกงประการปรับเพิ่มค่าจ้างขั้นต่ำ ค่าอาหารสำหรับผู้ช่วยแม่บ้านต่างชาติ 1 ตุลาคม
วันที่ 30 กันยายน 2557 รัฐบาลฮ่องกงประกาศขึ้นเงินเดือนแรงงานประเภทผู้ช่วยแม่บ้านต่างชาติ 2.5 เปอร์เซ็นต์ จากเดือนละ 4010 เหรียญฮ่องกง เป็น 4110 เหรียญฮ่องกง และขึ้นค่าอาหาร 4.8 เปอร์เซ็นต์ สำหรับผู้ที่นายจ้างไม่จัดหาอาหารให้ จาก 920 เหรียญฮ่องกง เป็น 964 เหรียญฮ่องกง ต่อเดือน ทั้งนี้มีผลสำหรับผู้ที่ทำสัญญาใหม่กับนายจ้างตั้งแต่วันที่ 1 ตุลาคม 2557
“Minimum wage raised for foreign domestic helpers”
The Government announced on 30 September 2014 that the wage for foreign domestic helpers (FDHs) is to be increased by $100 from HK$4,010 to HK$4,110 per month, up by 2.5 per cent.
If employers choose to pay a food allowance to FDHs, the allowance will be increased by $44, or 4.8 per cent, from not less than HK$920 to not less than HK$964 per month. The new levels of MAW and food allowance will apply to all foreign domestic helper contracts signed on or after 1 Oct 2014
